About Qamoos:
Qamoos is considered as a FRONT-END of a database of words ( arabic - english) , created by www.arabeyes.org and other contributers.
It has been written in ruby using qtruby4 (Qt4 ruby binding), you can select any sqlite3 database adopted to work with qamoos to operate on it . It also have a gui converter so that you could convert stardict format to sqlite3.
And of course other features!
